Another page out! Sorry it looks soo bad!! I only used three frames in the whole comic, and it looks so empty! I'm still trying to work on my comic layout skills. Bleh.
But anyway--at last, the introduction for Hatsuko, the main character! When I was drawing the first pages, I was thinking how much Hatsuko looks like a 25-year-old new mother taking care of her little kids, rather than a 14-year-old freshman highschooler!
I seem to like making stories about young kids who are waay to mature for their age... Like, my last story, Arelle, was about a girl who basically led a group of outcast elves and Barbarians... hehe ^.^
Anyway, the last frame is colored, because I wanted everyone to see what Hatsuko's hair and eye color were, as well as what her school uniform was like. Plus, I wanted the last frame to have a lot of impact, because it was where she introduced herself as a highschooler. I hope having one frame color while the others are greyscale doesn't look too bad...I really didn't want to color the others, since they look horrible and not worth color.
Also, I did a slightly different method of coloring for this frame, and I think it looks awful. But I don't want to recolor, so it's just going to have to stay like that. Ah well. I'll keep in mind how I should color next time I decide to do color again.
